Plane makes emergency landing at Magic Valley Regional Airport

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) According to Magic Valley Regional Airport manager Bill Carberry, a Cessna two-engine plane experienced a gear collapse, which forced the pilot to make an emergency landing Saturday afternoon.

Both occupants are currently walking around with apparently no injuries.

The main runway at Joslin Field is currently closed as the plane still remains on the runway. As soon as the plane is removed, the airport will resume regular business.

There are no flights delayed, the runway should be cleared in 30-60 minutes with the next flight due to arrive later in the evening.

We have a reporter on scene and we will have more details as soon as they become available.
